Mon activité de recherche a concerné la phylogénie moléculaire, au plan du développement de méthodes ainsi qu'au plan de l'analyse de données empiriques.

  • travaux sur les moyens de prise en compte des différences de composition en bases et en acides aminés lors de la reconstruction phylogénétique.
  • développement d'un logiciel d'aide à la reconstruction phylogénétique.
  • travaux sur l'histoire évolutive des archées, des bactéries.
  • travaux sur l'origine évolutive de la mitochondrie.

Je suis maintenant DR CNRS émérite. Mes travaux sont concentrés sur la maintenance et le développement du logiciel seaview de reconstruction phylogénétique.
