Evolutionary ecology in a changing world

Currently, humans have perturbed ecosystems worldwide. Disturbance levels change spatial and temporally on ecosystems. Therefore, concepts, tools, and evaluation variated are necessary for a full understanding of mechanisms that maintain biodiversity, to recovery with a focus on One Health. In this regard, the integration of organismal biology and macroecology approaches is imperative.
In my talk, I would talk about: 1) animal behavior of different species, 2) biodiversity patterns at different spatial scales (local, landscape, and macroecological), and 3) zoonotic diseases. Thus, we are going to review my studies in these three main areas, for example the feeding and sexual behavior of Tenebrio, ant and odonates biodiversity, and insect vector distribution.
